I got banned today from travelling on a Northland school bus. It was supposed to be a trip with the kids travelling from Mangakahia School along the dusty roads. The parents had sent the invite. They’re worried about the ill effects of dust clouds from traffic and want the roads sealed. They’ve been campaigning for years. But the government said I was a safety concern. Possible overloading. Kids might have to stand. But I saw the bus. There was room for me. Then they got into a cover-up of the decision making. That made it worse. Then it was labelled Busgate - that’s when those in power lie to cover up wrongdoings. The moral of the story for this government is to front up, stop playing games, tell the truth and give the people of Northland a fair go.
NZ Farming Earthquake Emergency Fund. The NZ Farming Community is New Zealands Largest Agricultural based Farming Community.
Following the 7.5 Magnitude Earthquake devastating the top of the south and bottom of the North Islands. Tyler, (Founder of NZ Farming) has gathered a few friends (Josh Tomlinson-Nott and Michael Kerr), these guys are builders and are simply driving around the effected area's offering help in return for gas money to reach the next job. As you can imagine this is a huge task and they simply need help for building supplies etc, we have already had a heap of messages from followers from here & overseas wanting to chip in to help the boys with their journey, we are humbled & touched the little bit we're trying to do so thank you to for the support! If you would like to contribute man power to this effort please contact us so we can get more volunteers involved as well.
Donations left over will then be used to fund care packages as such that will be sent to the most effected areas.
NZ Farming will continue to provide updates as Tyler moves throughout the region as communications are available

Fiction is being peddled by Prime Minister John Key on the TPPA and recycled by some in the New Zealand media who ought to know better.
Without the United States there is no Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA), so why on earth is the government getting away with its PR bluster over this "signing?".
While National is prepared to sign a blank cheque, American lawmakers may eventually pass something quite different. Sadly, New Zealand will not have one scintilla of influence on the final shape of the TPPA.
We'd get far more benefit by treating Made in New Zealand as an asset and not a begging bowl.
Being a beacon of free and fair trade is what New Zealand once claimed it stood for. That clearly is not something that current TPPA proponents in New Zealand can argue now.
A special thank you to each and everyone of my fans for your messages of support #TeamParker #FansFirst I'm truly humbled and try to get to them all. I've now picked a couple of winners for the signed gloves and given away three new watches thanks to the homies at G-Shock NZ. Who's excited for October?
There’s a last ditch effort by TPPA backers to get it over the line. President Obama is asking the big US corporations to speak out in support of the deal. John Key is trying to scare people saying anything anti globalisation is negative for this country. We say beware, he’ll do a deal with the devil to tick off the TPPA. Obama, who is on his way out, and Key, both want a legacy. They falsely claim the TPPA is a trade deal but its more about the big corporates ruling us.
It would be a disaster for New Zealand. The TPPA has sold us short on Pharmac’s status, and we are likely to pay more for medicines. We’d be vulnerable to paying millions of dollars in compensation to international corporations when they consider our laws might hurt their profits. We’d be subject to the findings of an overseas tribunal of lawyers ruling in their favour. In its present form the TPPA is not for us. The ordinary citizens of both the United States and New Zealand realise the TPPA will only benefit major corporations.
