What a collision.. Former All Blacks Anthony Tuitavake ran straight into Ma'a Nonu and knocked him out. Hopefully the uce is alright. Great Sportsmanship from Tuitavake checking that Ma'a was OK. Such an emotional sport.. what a loving gesture!

Hey folks, it's been a very long day for everybody, so your WREMO social media team are signing off for the night to get some rest. We do have people available overnight in case something urgent comes up, so we've got your back.
We know it's hard to sleep with the aftershocks, as they can make you pretty jittery. Blanket forts and sleepovers to have more people around is a perfectly good way to deal. But try and get some rest. We all need it!
Good night everyone! - The team at WREMO, and your local council Emergency Operation Centres.
For the second year in succession the Hurricanes will host the Investec Super Rugby Final, after defeating the Chiefs 25-9 tonight at Westpac Stadium in front of 25,600 fans. The Hurricanes will welcome either the Highlanders or the Lions to Wellington next Saturday night. A well-deserved win, built on three great tries, including a Beauden Barrett intercept that brought the house down, and more superb defensive pressure. Hurricanes tries to Barrett, second five-eighth Willis Halaholo and No. 8 Victor Vito. Two conversions and two penalties to Barrett. For the Chiefs, two penalties to Damian McKenzie. Halftime 15-6. Wishing you all a happy, healthy and fun 2017 where you get to realise your dreams, and enjoy doing the things you love 😘😘😘

#Watch: A group of young fishers have been praised by a beach-goer after they hauled in a bronze whaler shark to remove the hook from its mouth and release it. Aucklander Simon List was walking along the shore at Pauanui in the Coromandel when he spotted them. "I was lucky to witness a gutsy bunch of lads doing what they enjoy but more importantly showing great respect for New Zealand's wildlife," he said. (Video: Simon List/Facebook)
