NEW PARENTS: Would love you to follow me and join me in this crazy parenting journey. We are all in this together, and all need a little coffee (and eventually wine) to get us through 😍
This is open to BOTH NZ & AUS residents. Closes 14th October.
This is no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
Today marks the end of an era. To say that I'm proud of you would be an understatement. You achieved your childhood dream and showed me that dreams can really be achieved. Politics is an inherently polarising industry and therefore the journey was not always the smoothest of sailing. In saying this, you always kept your head held high and always remained infectiously positive. You're the best role model I could've asked for and my hero. Love you dad ❤️🔑
Ronan and Julian really came through for us with some #BeatsByAirNZ for Christmas 🎅 🙌 This festive tune is going straight to the top of my ‘festive tracks that actually make sense to the Southern Hemisphere’ playlist (it’s the only song on the playlist) 🎶 #AirNZXmas #SummerWonderland
- $50 billion extra debt - A third of children now living in poverty - Fueled a massive housing crisis - 61% of lakes and rivers now unswimmable - 74% of freshwater species facing extinction - Closed Christhurch's rape crisis centre - Slashed funding for public health/mental health services - Slashed funding for education - Attempted to sell our sovereignty to corporate America - Wasted millions on a flag - Gifted $13.7m taxpayer funds to Hillary Clinton's dodgy foundation - Sent $6m of taxpayer funds to bribe offended Saudi's - More oil drilling and no climate change action - Introduced invasive spying bills
Now it's time for New Zealand to pick up the pieces and fix the damage he has caused to our country.

Killing our children is murder! There are NO excuses that can or will ever justify murdering our children. You and only you are ultimately responsible for your own actions.
These are just some of the many precious souls who have died in recent years from abuse or neglect. Apart from their untimely deaths, they also now have in common that their killers all only got manslaughter convictions and ridiculous sentences to match.
Enough is enough New Zealand. Stand up with the rest of our country on Monday, 27th June and say no more!
My Dad is cool, he’s a solo Dad of 5. My brother he’s 18, I'm 16, my sister 13 and my little brothers are 4 and 2. We were living in Hamilton, Dad was working, he’s a painter. We came up here in March because my close cousin, drowned at Hunua falls.
We were just trying to get over my cousin’s funeral and then I got told that I have Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and that there’s a tumour in my lower back. Everything, it all went down hill from there. When I got told, I didn’t think about anything, I just started crying. It was hard to take in. The doctors said I needed chemo therapy straight away so it wouldn’t spread and that the best place for that was Starship hospital in Auckland. At first Dad said it was to far for us but then he moved my family up from Hamilton to my Aunty’s here in Mangere (the mother of the cousin who'd died).
The first treatment it made me really cold, really weak and really sick. I hated being in hospital. The hardest part was losing my long hair, I always used to play with it and plait it. When my hair starting coming out, my tears started falling down. Two days it was all gone.
I was in hospital for a month. I wasn’t able to swallow, I got infections, I had 2 massive seizures. I had to have antibiotics and that lead to kidney problems so not only do I have cancer, I have kidney problems. When I was finally allowed to go home I was really happy. I told my Dad I was hungry, I wanted to go to McDonald's. We celebrated getting out, I ordered my favorite Big Mac combo and then we went home to Aunty's.
There were 15 people living at Aunty’s. I slept on a mattress in a room I shared with my little brothers. It wasn’t really good because the hospital said I had to wear a mask because I could easily get infected. It was nice to be around family, I didn’t want to talk about having cancer, we’d talk about my cousin, I miss him. Dad had stopped working to look after all of us. He would go to WINZ for appointments, he told them about me having cancer, about us. They did nothing. He went to Housing NZ, told them, they couldn’t find us a house “too full” they said “too full”. We were stuck at Aunty’s things got really tense, so we had leave. My Dad heard about what the marae was doing and said “let’s try the marae.”
We were nervous cause we’re Samoan. At first we thought, 'oh no there’s not gonna be islanders or anything,’ but once we got here everyone was kind and loving. It’s pretty cool here. We are happy, they are helping us to get a house which is a huge relief for my Dad. He still has to take me to Starship for my check ups, blood tests, to flush my line and to change the dressing. He's still stressed out, but I'm really proud of my Dad.
I hope we get a house. So we can all live again. So my Dad can go back to work, he's a hard worker. My brother wants to get a job. My sister she likes her school and I want my little brother’s to have a home. I feel responsible for all of this.
I asked B what she’d like most of all in life and she said right now, a holiday to Samoa to see her Mum’s family, and she wants to meet the wrestler Roman Reigns.
She wants to be cured of cancer, of course.
And a house. She’d like to get a house.
B is for Brave 💖💕
----------------------------- Although the past few months have been extremely difficult, the light at the end of the tunnel is becoming brighter. B and her aiga will be moved into a home this week (Tuesday) and will get to focus on her healing without the pressures of having no home.
Ngā tauwhirotanga nui ki runga ki a koe e B me to whānau, i tēnei rā, a haere ake nei. Paimārire ❤️
