I don't need some case study to tell me that fried foods attribute to heart disease, strokes and an increase risk of type two diabetes. I also don't need a degree in nutrition to tell me that alcohol damages our liver which is our super precious largest internal organ with hundreds of crucial roles within our body. Incredible care should be taken!!
I don't need the papers and daily news to tell me that there are over 42 million obese children in developed countries between 0-5yrs and looking to rise to 70 million within the next 10 years 😞 This truly saddens me as so so much of this can be avoided! What are we doing to our children? And please do not blame TVs, iPads, phones etc ... Those items don't magically fly into our children's hands ... WE allow it!! We also control the food they eat!

Think beyond fitting your favourite jeans and summer bikini ... Sheeks it is so much more than that!! Please don't ever forget the real importance of why we should replenish our bodies with nutritious food, rest and participate in regular exercise.
Don't ever be too tired or too busy to place such importance on these things!! Don't wait til you are given ultimatums from a doctor or hospital! Don't wait till it's too late ...
I know this is not the most fun thing to read, but please understand my heart and intentions for this ... I care about our families our children and their future!!
OK ... So you've read this and want to change ... what do you do? Here's a few basic tips to start with:
👉🏼 Write down 3-5 small realistic goals for the week (don't even start Monday, start now 🙄😂)
👉🏼 Commit to walking/exercising 3 times/week (no you don't need to go join a gym) just get moving!!!
👉🏼 Drink 1.5L min water per day
👉🏼 Start speaking positively to yourself (even if it's forced)
👉🏼 Eat breakfast/lunch/dinner with a few snacks between
👉🏼 Do not weigh your food or count calories, just make better choices each day
👉🏼 Limit refined sugars
👉🏼 Reduce takeout food
👉🏼 Rest your body well (sleep)
Remember it is what we do each day that matters, not the one offs, not the special functions and occasions ... It's what we do the MAJORITY of the time that makes the difference 👌🏻
