Okaaaayyy so following my last post Mad Mike Whiddett responded and it's on lol. Luckily this has me covered between footy sessions. I've been told a pit crew is key so I'm keen to bring a couple of you along to help me take care of business. Download the Red Bull Drift Shifters game at the App Store, show me your high score below and be into win a spot on my team. We're drifting Mad Mike this Wednesday 🔥
I don't even know if this makes sense, but I'm going to post it anyway:
To my children who say "mum mum mum": it's the most annoying thing to hear in the world, and sometimes I wish it was "dad dad dad" but I wouldn't change it for anything.
To my children who constantly fight: it literally drives me insane the way you consistently start world war 3 with your sibling but I am grateful that there are two of you. Because the fighting is never ending it makes me appreciate the times you play nicely and seem to genuinely love each other.
To my children who STILL wake up during the night: Mummy seriously just wants to sleep through the night herself. Secretly though, midnight cuddles are my favourite.
To my children who burst through the toilet door when I'm in the middle of trying to have my "relaxing toilet time": all I want is five minutes guys. Surely five minutes isn't too much to ask because there's nothing worse than having to force something out because you're fighting YET AGAIN. I don't have anything positive to say about this one - pooing in peace is all I want in life really. No lessons to learn here.
To my children who refuse to eat a deliciously prepared meal: it sometimes makes me want to cry considering how much effort I go into making dinner. But it's good for me to also know that plain food is fine too.
Each and every single day you push me to the brink of insanity. But it's while I'm on the brink that I not only learn about myself, but I learn about you as well.
Please don't change - because you're actually quite wonderful.

It’s time New Zealanders bit back at the government who let corporates like Apple thumb their nose at our tax rules. Apple pays no tax here, despite being the dominant supplier of mobile phones. National is allowing its big business mates to manipulate our tax system. Every year, government departments buy over a thousand Apple devices, yet the company pays no tax. Apple is milking this country, all under National's watch. And it’s not just Apple either. FujiXerox is a favourite of the government. It takes from the taxpayer and gives to its multinational paymaster. National does nothing to protect the interests of hardworking Kiwis. It’s only concerned about its big business mates.
I recently went to the dentist and was told I am Grinding my teeth a lot. This is something I know I was never doing during the day so I just assumed I was doing it in my sleep but I had never woken up with a noticeably sore jaw or teeth. Since I was told I have caught my self so often grinding my teeth during the day literally every day and waking up with a sore mouth in the morning. My point is not the teeth (ok that's a pain and I'm not sure what the fuck to do about it) But my point it the power of hearing people telling you things about yourself. For me it's huge the effect I let others have on my mind and mental wellbeing is something I thought I could control really well but I think subconsciously it effects me a lot more than I realize. This is why is so fucking important to cut/block/remove negative people from your life beceuase they can effect you in ways even you may not be awear of. The teeth is a weird example to use but I don't want to use any real life examples and put more negative energy out there...we also have to understand that negative people also are just hurting or in a lot of pain and sometimes the best thing you can do is give those people space. Remember you are not for everyone, your not meant to be understood by everyone or even anyone and that's ok, as long as you are ok with you then your on the right path. Hope you enjoy my thoughts while I enjoy the biggest cup of masala tea first thing in the morning in goa ✔️👌🏻

Merry Christmas guys! Hope you have had/ are having a great day. Phew, after hosting 18 people I'm now curled on the couch with a cup of tea. Even though our turkey overcooked, the pav had cracks in it and red wine spilt on our new rug, it was so much fun (aaaaand there's leftover trifle for brekkie tomorrow...yuss!). How'd your day go? Ps. Thanks My Food Bag for the 👌feast 😋
