Arohamai for my absence over the past week, we have been in the hospital with our big boy, he is home now doing well so all is good :) Just wanted to come on here to say thankyou all for your support with our new album 'Tira' actually for all of the support from the get go, love you all xx
Also wanted to come on here and give you all an insight on what 'Tira' is all about :)
'Tira' is a collection of Māori waiata kirihimete (carols), waiata tira (chorals), waiata hou (new songs) and waiata no te ao kapahaka (kapahaka songs). The themes intertwining all of the waiata together of course are kotahitanga (unity), aroha (love), whānau (family) and being grateful to God for the many blessings which essentially is what this time of Christmas is really all about to me and my whānau.
'Tira' also means ray of light and may you find that light or clarity to move forward into the new year in this time of pause and reflection in your own lives in your own piece of paradise with your most nearest and dearest all around you :)
'Tira' features amazingly talented and diverse special guest artists - Hinewehi Mohi, Hato Hohepa (St Josephs Maori Girls) Choir, Tama Waipara, Seth Haapu, Troy Kingi, Beau Monga, Thomas Oliver, Horo Horomona, The Modern Maori Quartet and more.
'Tira' features waiata composed by prolific song writers Rikirangi Gage and Rob Ruha. 'Tira' is for people from all walks of life all denominations with waiata influenced by all Haahi (faiths) throughout Aotearoa including Karakia Tawhito/Pre Colonisation chants/karakia.
I hope you find something or someone you can connect with in this new album 'Tira,' hardcopies are available at the Warehouse, JB Hifi, K' Town Pharmacy, Ohope Beach Pharmacy and independant music stores throughout the country, digital downloads of 'Tira' are available from the link below, ano nei te mihi aroha <3 Merry Christmas and all the very best for the coming new year, love you all xxmasexx
Believe in yourself, take on your challenges, dig deep within yourself to conquer fears. Never let anyone bring you down. You got to keep going <3 Faith that it's not always in your hands or things don't always go the way you planned, but you have to have faith that there is a plan for you, and you must follow your heart and believe in yourself no matter what <3

A range of people, so-called experts and political parties are saying NZ Super is not affordable in the long term future.
But they don’t give one economic fact to back that up, just lame predictions.
At the same time they’ve all condoned and encouraged over 86,000 people to come here in the last 15 years and get full Super – whether they’ve paid tax or not – in just 10 years, whilst New Zealanders have been paying taxes for 40-45 years.
It’s not a question of affordability, if it was they’d be talking about this matter – but they haven’t.
