Tasti blissful balls are the best way to indulge without the guilt. Plus, you’ll have a ball of a time making them.
Ingredients: 1 cup of Tasti raw cashews or almonds 1 cup of Tasti pitted dates 2 tablespoons of raw cocoa powder 2 tablespoons of Tasti sunflower seeds
Method: Soak dates for 10 mins in boiling water, drain well. Place your drained dates and the rest of your ingredients into a food processor and blitz until the mixture begins to bind together. Then take large teaspoons of the mixture and roll into balls. As an added bonus, roll your balls in some extra cocoa or coconut.
Like many people, we are appalled at the decision to kill Grizz at Auckland airport yesterday. We'd like to know why he was exposed to such an environment, without proper training, and why more wasn't done to catch him before he was shot and killed.
It seems to us Grizz was killed because he suddenly become inconvenient and some weak efforts to catch him didn't work. Was it about money? He was nowhere near the tarmac when he was killed, and there's no safety issue if you hold flights until he is caught, or trap him in an area away from flights using portable gates.
Why weren't gates and a tranquilliser gun used? Why were no dog behaviour specialists called in? What's to stop this happening again?
The world has the right to be disgusted. We certainly are.

We have no confidence in the government’s in-house review in which John Shewan has been appointed to review foreign trust disclosure rules a week after the release of the Panama Papers which show tax evasion by the wealthy, politicians and criminals.
In less than 24 hours the Prime Minister has gone from an overseas expert to someone of the government’s choosing long involved in accountancy practices in New Zealand.
Mr Shewan was involved in a number of high profile tax cases:
First, the Westpac Banking Corporation which ended in a Westpac Banking Corporation-IRD dispute which ended in four Australian-owned banks settling for $2.2 billion in December 2009.
Second, he gave expert advice in the Penny & Hooper case. The Court of Appeal and Supreme Court dismissed his evidence as being inappropriate from an expert witness.
Third, he was dismissive over the Cook Islands Winebox allegations, preferring 'form over substance', a misguided view overruled by the Privy Council, Court of Appeal and the New Zealand High Court.
Fourth, Mr Shewan has been giving tax advice to New Zealand governments for years. New Zealand First wants a proper inquiry with the full powers to obtain disclosure and by a body not contaminated by New Zealand establishment associations.
Mr Key’s soft option won't do to allay international criticism that New Zealand is a tax haven.
This appointment means the government is not taking the issue of New Zealand’s reputation seriously.
