Heartbroken 💔 about the Gorilla, #ripharambe . Sad ,speechless ,angry, Ban Zoos as far as I'm concerned , what is the purpose other than grief. I have heard people say they are educational ... How ? As a child going on a school trip to the zoo was exciting .. But by the day's end my nose would be pressed against the smelly wires looking into what always made me heartbroken . "Their eyes "sad ,bored angry. How can it be educational when just as when a human is imprisoned there life is never the same. The mother clearly fearing for her child's life , as a mother I understand this . Ripharambe .. All around accountability . This is my opinion ,
Our little giraffe calf took her first steps out into Pridelands yesterday morning and took it all in her stride! She's being slowly introduced to the paddock, so keep an eye out the next time you're at the Zoo to see whether you can spot her.
