Life is too short to waste any amount of time on wondering what other people think about you. In the first place, if they had better things going on in their lives, they wouldn't have the time to sit around and talk about you. What's important to me is not others' opinions of me, but what's important to me is my opinion of myself <3
Sometimes life throws you a curve ball. The first time in my career I got asked to captain I ruptured my left adductor back in 2011 the second time I got a chance to captain was last Saturday & I unfortunately got a tear on my right adductor. Best I leave the captaincy to the captains haha. Time to work hard on my rehab to come back stronger.

Another great summer outdoor activity is to make a colour burst with your toddler using three simple ingredients: milk, food colouring, and dishwashing liquid. Start by pouring milk into a bowl (you don't need a lot, just enough to cover the bottom of the bowl), add different drops of food colouring. Then add a few drops of dishwashing liquid. The colours will separate creating a spectacular sight. Let your toddler make patterns by stirring with a skewer

National is still refusing to reveal to New Zealanders just how many houses and how much land is going into foreign hands. The government had a chance to set up a register of sales. But no. Not on your nelly. When our bill to set up a register of sales came up for debate in Parliament, they were vocal in their opposition. With the help of ACT, United Future and the Maori Party, who represent very few New Zealanders, they stopped the bill going through. It’s a cover up. They don’t want you to know the true extent of foreign buying. Other countries, like Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China have similar laws, and many other countries are moving to adopt them.
Dear all mums, or sleep whisperers, or anyone who has advice......
Sleep is such an important thing to human beings. And this little button, our delicious Havana, hasn't been giving us a lot of it lately at night.
Which got me thinking..... There are so many mums and dads out there with young bubbas who are sleep deprived. And after 6 months it becomes not so fun. And this mumma and daddy are too busy to be this tired.
So I thought, why not ask my fabulous followers to give us some baby sleep advice. Yes she is my third baby, which just proves that all babies are different. She is 6 months old and still wakes 2-3 times a night. Sometimes she stays awake for a few hours. Just for fun. She wants milk whenever she wakes. She sleeps well in the day time but only 3 sleeps do not over sleeping. She eats 3 solid meals in the day to.
I would love you to comment on any sleep advice you have. As I think a lot of mums out there could benefit from the tips other mothers have.
I don't want advice from mums who have babies that just magically slept through the night from the first few weeks. I want to know what you did to get babies to sleep through the night, after they have been waking a lot. Tricky sleepers that got there in the end.
Hit me. I'm intrigued to hear.
Because sleep deprivation is not fun. And being my third baby I know it's just a phase and that it ends at some point. But I think it's important to let new mums know that they are not alone when they are up doing night feeds deep into the night. It can be a lonely time.
I know with my second bubba, who had silent reflux, and woke every 45 minutes for 8 weeks.... I used to get so anxious and worked up at night, knowing I would get up for most of it. So you are not alone. And I hope you read a tip below that might help. It takes a village you know.
Thank you in advance for your tips.
Havana and I are excited to try some new tricks. And if someone gives me advice that works, I will send you a new outfit. Because you will be my new best friend.
