Young Jordan Kemp, was only 17-years-old when he collapsed on a rugby field from concussion. It was the last time his whānau would see him alive. In the weekend, they had his unveiling. Here’s a waiata written and sung for him by his best friend.
- one of the greatest All Black performances I've seen, yes some of you will argue that Australia was rubbish, but for me the AB's just destroyed them in every possible way - Malakai Fekitoa had his best match in the AB's.. Not bad for a bloke the Aussie media thought was the weak link. - Beauden Barrett is worth the price of admission on his own. The guy is playing out of skin. - I have no idea what the off load count was tonight.. But let's just say truckloads. - how about Dane Coles! Was not even supposed to play tonight with that rib injury. - finally, is it fair to say this 2016 side has taken rugby to a level we've never seen before.

Finance Minister is hiding behind our weak and feeble laws. Twenty multinational companies paid only $1.8 million in income tax in 2014 yet had about $10 billion in annual sales in NZ. Bill English says that’s okay because they are sticking to the law. Something is wrong with our law when they get to have mammoth earnings and not pay tax while Kiwi workers must pay tax on barely liveable wages.
These multinationals siphon their profits overseas - they make that money from New Zealanders spending. So all they do is take from this country.
Mastercard NZ declared revenue here of just $4.5 million and paid a pitiful $71,445 tax in their latest figures. Visa NZ declared only $3.2 million of revenue and paid a mere $185,000 in tax.
That’s despite sharing in $40 billion of annual credit card billings. No Finance Minister, concerned about this country and its citizens, can ever argue that is fair. He can change the rules, but he won’t.
Meanwhile Kiwi businesses say they miss out on investment opportunities here because foreign competitors abusing the tax system have an unfair advantage.
The woman who died trying to cross the road to comfort a baby and two young children who had just been in a car accident has been remembered as someone who would "give away her own teeth if she thought you needed them more than she did".
