Can't decide whether this guy is more fudge or more brownie, so have called him a Cacao nut butter fudgey brownie! It's a gluten and dairy free goodie I've created for Ceres Organics and you can make it refined sugar-free too. I’ve reduced the amount of added sugar by adding a mashed banana for sweetness and the richness comes from the nuts. I'm thinking this would be puuuuuurfect to bake this weekend for lunchbox treats next week! Recipe here: https://nadialim.com/recipe/cacao-almond-butter-fudge-brownie/
Dear all mums, or sleep whisperers, or anyone who has advice......
Sleep is such an important thing to human beings. And this little button, our delicious Havana, hasn't been giving us a lot of it lately at night.
Which got me thinking..... There are so many mums and dads out there with young bubbas who are sleep deprived. And after 6 months it becomes not so fun. And this mumma and daddy are too busy to be this tired.
So I thought, why not ask my fabulous followers to give us some baby sleep advice. Yes she is my third baby, which just proves that all babies are different. She is 6 months old and still wakes 2-3 times a night. Sometimes she stays awake for a few hours. Just for fun. She wants milk whenever she wakes. She sleeps well in the day time but only 3 sleeps do not over sleeping. She eats 3 solid meals in the day to.
I would love you to comment on any sleep advice you have. As I think a lot of mums out there could benefit from the tips other mothers have.
I don't want advice from mums who have babies that just magically slept through the night from the first few weeks. I want to know what you did to get babies to sleep through the night, after they have been waking a lot. Tricky sleepers that got there in the end.
Hit me. I'm intrigued to hear.
Because sleep deprivation is not fun. And being my third baby I know it's just a phase and that it ends at some point. But I think it's important to let new mums know that they are not alone when they are up doing night feeds deep into the night. It can be a lonely time.
I know with my second bubba, who had silent reflux, and woke every 45 minutes for 8 weeks.... I used to get so anxious and worked up at night, knowing I would get up for most of it. So you are not alone. And I hope you read a tip below that might help. It takes a village you know.
Thank you in advance for your tips.
Havana and I are excited to try some new tricks. And if someone gives me advice that works, I will send you a new outfit. Because you will be my new best friend.

Like many people, we are appalled at the decision to kill Grizz at Auckland airport yesterday. We'd like to know why he was exposed to such an environment, without proper training, and why more wasn't done to catch him before he was shot and killed.
It seems to us Grizz was killed because he suddenly become inconvenient and some weak efforts to catch him didn't work. Was it about money? He was nowhere near the tarmac when he was killed, and there's no safety issue if you hold flights until he is caught, or trap him in an area away from flights using portable gates.
Why weren't gates and a tranquilliser gun used? Why were no dog behaviour specialists called in? What's to stop this happening again?
The world has the right to be disgusted. We certainly are.

A range of people, so-called experts and political parties are saying NZ Super is not affordable in the long term future.
But they don’t give one economic fact to back that up, just lame predictions.
At the same time they’ve all condoned and encouraged over 86,000 people to come here in the last 15 years and get full Super – whether they’ve paid tax or not – in just 10 years, whilst New Zealanders have been paying taxes for 40-45 years.
It’s not a question of affordability, if it was they’d be talking about this matter – but they haven’t.
Good old fashioned service is important to us! That’s why we have a skilled butcher on hand to ‘MEAT & GREET’ you every single hour our shop doors are open. Tell us where your local Mad Butcher is & why you love ‘em…and you could win a $20 Mad Butcher voucher.
We may not be in Hawaii right now - but we can still make Hawaiian chicken, dammit! I created this recipe when I was there on my honeymoon a few years ago - hence the name. It's REALLY good: http://chelseawinter.co.nz/hawaiian-glazed-chicken. (I should maybe put this one in my next book, yeah?)
GET THIS! Nick Smith and the Govt says it will make 90% of rivers swimmable, not by stopping pollution or cleaning them up, but by changing the definition of swimmable! They've just doubled the amount of faecal contamination allowed in their 'swimmable' standard.
